He used to think that Betty and Veronica were super-hot, but he felt like that might be a little bit naughty. Come to find out he still finds Betty and Veronica super-hot, it still makes him feel naughty… and he likes it!

The Gale Encyclopedia of Psychology says:

“Many authorities have concluded that, because of the constantly shifting moral connotations of the concept of sexual obscenity, it is not possible to completely and objectively define the term pornography, and that, in the final analysis, pornography is in the eye of the beholder.”

Vic either can’t understand the multi-syllable words, or didn’t listen (as usual) and insists on defining porn as anything that is too raunchy to appeal to him. Anything he likes is not porn, it is “art”.

Angeline, for the sake of argument would like to categorize strip clubs, nudie magazines, and sex videos as modern “porn”, but argues that it is an arbitrary moniker that is splashed upon things that in other centuries would have been called “goddess worship”.

You see, the thing is that Vic is in the process of being divorced by his wife. It wasn’t his idea, therefore we should all step in to help him through this trying time by teaching him some social skills, e.g. how to effectively talk to women. He doesn’t have a clue. (Again, Vic doesn’t know how to log in and change this so I, Angeline, am able to write whatever I want here. Heh heh.)

This episode is a lesson in what works and what doesn’t when picking up a woman in a bar. Also, should men hit on waitresses? Vic, like all men who would have been the tribal hunters in prehistoric times, thinks that any woman who crosses his path should be grabbed by the hair and dragged home. Angeline is constantly reminding Vic that waitresses are not hookers (or chattle) and the only reason they are smiling at him is because there is a tip in it for them if they are nice.

This is a magnificent example of exactly how to pick up a woman. It is one of Vic’s YouTube picks this week entitled, “Kissing A Perfect Stranger In under 12 Minutes”.

Because Vic is probably wondering if “What is your sign?” is a good pick-up line, he asked Angeline this week how much stock we should put in astrological signs.

In response, Angeline came up with this YouTube pick, a song about astrological signs. OMG!!!!! Absolutely hilarious!

Vic wants to know why you are not supposed to ask a woman how much she weighs. Angeline says it is because there is no reason anybody should need that information unless they are a detail oriented stalker. Vic keeps saying, “but why?” That’s why! Jeeze!

When is the right time for sex?

Vic was all jazzed about an article he came across on MSN dating and personals called, “The Right Time For Sex“. But because he is pretty much oblivious, it took about a day before he realized that the article he was reading was actually from the lesbian portion of MSN. Why was he reading the lesbian page? Who knows, but he also watches “Sex and the City” so it is anyone’s guess. Anyway, this article prompted us to compare ideas about when is the right time to have sex with someone you are dating.

Angeline is a reader of and believer in “The Rules: Time Tested Secrets for Capturing the Heart of Mr. Right“. She has never really been able to follow them, but she inadvertently did follow them with one guy and ended up marrying him, so there is proof that they work.

The Rules (with commentary by Angeline):

1. Be a creature unlike any other. But of course!
2. Show up to parties, dances and social events even if you do not feel like it. I never thought it was a compliment to be referred to as a girl who “likes the night life”, but whatever you say Rules. Duty calls!
3. It’s a fantasy relationship unless a man asks you out. Don’t knock the fantasy relationship. I have a whole fantasy relationship with Brad Pitt that keeps me warm on cold winter nights. He is such a great boyfriend!
4. In an office romance, do not email him back every time he emails you unless it is business related. Or if you do, at least wait an hour. Answering right away is like picking up the phone on the first ring. I mean, don’t you have anything else to be doing… like working?
5. If you are in a long-distance relationship, he must visit you at least three times before you visit him. And when he arrives, be out of town… I mean, really, these Rules do go a bit far.
6. When considering whether to use personal ads or other dating services, you should place the ad and let men respond to you. Never used the personals because I have this silly hang up about NOT BEING INTIMATE WITH PERFECT STRANGERS!!!
7. If he does not call, he is not that interested. Period. Or maybe he is… go ahead and call him again and leave him another message and then drink another glass of wine to help you forget that you have no dignity. That’s exactly what I do and I will never learn.
8. Close the deal – Rules women do not date men for more than two years. That’s right! Date him for 1 year, realize that he’s crap, spend the next year trying to fix him, then if you can’t fix him, spend a year breaking up. Wait, is that three?
9. Buyer beware — observe his behavior so you do not end up with Mr. Wrong. See above.
10. Keep doing the Rules even when things are slow. This one is bullshit. They want you to play hard to get even when things are slow. This is like asking a small time celebrity not to go to Mr. Chow. Mama needs her sugar no matter the price.

The implications of some of the ideas in this article may seem immoral, contrary to our ideals, or offensive. Nevertheless, they are true, supported by documented scientific evidence. NIPPLE RINGS FALL FOUL OF AIRPORT CHECKS

A Texas woman was required to remove both of her nipple rings at airport security. She was not informed of her option for a “pat down”. Instead, TSA reps stood around her in a circle (like a curtain) while she tried to remove her nipple rings. One of them wouldn’t come out and she requested some pliers — which they brought her!

Angeline is fed up with airport security. She thinks its all part of a campaign to terrorize citizens into believing in the “threat” of terrorists. Plus it is hard to travel with her two small children. George Carlin is on her side.

Vic thinks Angeline is a robot who simply repeats ideas she hears other people say … but Vic spent two hours this morning trying to figure out why women are referred to as “minorities”. (Not very bright.)
